Branding & Packaging was a main area of focus while attending OCAD University was branding and packaging. This work was produced during my 4 years there. 

Kitkat Mini - Redesign 

This was a redesign project where we were asked to redesign the KitKat mini packaging. The main component of this project was to focus 50% on making the 100% current plastic packaging more sustainable and environmentally friendly and the other 50% of our time was to be spent on redesigning the look of the current package. This was a collaborative project with two other designers Angela Tavernese and Laura Tersigni.  We created and designed this piece made from rice paper to be 100% biodegradable and environmentally friendly through weeks of research finding appropriate substrates that would allow for the proper shelf life of chocolate and would give us the sustainability we were looking for! The new design is fresh, modern, and bright which allows for it to be spotted on a shelf when side by side with its competitors.
